Why they joined SEM
Laila joined SEM after hearing about the program from a classmate and being drawn to its real-world environmental impact. Motivated by how climate affects students, Laila hopes to take an active role in protecting the environment while strengthening communication and problem-solving skills through experience in professional settings.
