Who they are
Rosario N. is a student in the Wenatchee School District who balances school, family, friendships, and volunteering. After completing 145 hours of community service and earning a varsity letter for volunteering, she continues to pursue service while enjoying scrapbooking, building LEGO sets, and time with loved ones; she hopes to study at the University of Washington and become a pediatric occupational therapist.
Why they joined SEM
Rosario joined SEM to gain new experiences, grow personally, and contribute to her community. The program has helped her become more comfortable speaking with professionals, and she hopes to finish the experience knowing that her work made a meaningful local difference.
